| In Store Media Agent In Store Service Rep or Media agent (Permanent Part Time - Independent Contractor) If you have weekday availability, thrive in a fast-paced environment and are skilled at multi-tasking, we would like to speak to you about joining the News Marketing Canada Team! News Marketing Canada is the nations leading single-source marketing services company whose home delivered and in-store media is united under the SmartSource family brand. We are currently seeking In-Store Service Representatives to install and service our SmartSource in-store product lines in grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores. Our SmartSource product lines include: the Smart Source Coupon Machine, advertising in grocery carts, advertising on the floor of retail locations, and our merchandising project work. Flexibility of schedule is important. We operate on four week cycles. Our In Store Service Reps typically work one 40-50 hour work week followed by three 10-15 hour work weeks per cycle. Reps are routed and scheduled to work in the week and are allowed the flexibility to choose the day to perform the tasks within the scheduled week. An initial 5-7 day orientation period is required and conducted during normal business hours of 9-5 p.m. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Achieve specified client objectives and assignments • Complete ad and/or merchandising programs as assigned by NMC Clients • Remove, install and maintain News Marketing Canada Products in specified retailers • Communicate with Area Manager as requested and on an ongoing basis (must respond to request within 24 hrs) • Attend monthly regional meetings & one on one sessions as scheduled with Area manager (or by conference call) • Report completion of project(s) in a timely and accurate manner Experience Needed: • Ability to work independently • Knowledge of retail environment & customer experience preferred Personal Traits • Demonstrate a sense of urgency • Honesty and integrity • Very detail oriented Skill requirements • Attention to detail and quality of work (imperative) • Good working knowledge of computer • Initiative to identify and solve problems • Ability to finish projects accurately, completely and on time • Work well independently & as part of a team Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 17 pounds & stand on feet for extended periods • Certain projects may require repetitive bending, lifting and stretching Non - Skill requirements • In-store representatives must have a valid driver's license (for at least 2 years) and a reliable, insured personal vehicle • Personal computer (with Windows 2000 or XP or higher) & printer • Internet & E-mail access; high speed access preferred • Adherence to dress code We Offer: • Flexible Hours • Bi-weekly Pay • Direct Deposit • Mileage reimbursement between business stops • Team Atmosphere • Opportunities for Advancement Please send your resume or (summary of experience) to K McKie | |
