| Service Manager (Branch Manager) Summary: You will provide leadership, direction and coordination to the service group in a cost efficient and profitable manner while achieving high quality and customer service standards. •Authorization and review of service work orders to ensure 100% completion and accuracy to assist the billing process and cycle. •Maintain and improve current customer relationships as well as develop new customers. •Able to quote new service contracts, renewals, time and material work and small installations and retrofit projects •Respond to technicians with problems that may arise on job sites with maintenance, diagnosis and repair of refrigeration, heating & air-conditioning systems commonly installed in supermarkets, convenient stores and cold storage facilities •Hire, train and motivate the service and installation staff along with performance management, discipline and merit increases. •Oversee scheduling of technicians and the flow of material to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services. •Knowledge of service maintenance contract details •Support customer/sales inquiries, bidding and other necessary items •Ensure proper and accurate Warehouse/Truck Stock inventory levels are maintained •Direct staffing and best practice processes •Ensure EH&S guidelines and policies are followed, investigate incidents, direct corrective actions. •Oversee training plans and development of staff and related activities Qualifications •Strong management skills, including the ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks, communicate information in a timely fashion and with the appropriate sense of urgency. •Minimum of five years of supermarket refrigeration experience •Attention to customer needs and maintains a high level of discretion and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive material. •Excellent verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills, mathematical skills, detail oriented and highly motivated. •Ability to work both individually and as a team with minimum supervision. •Proficient in Microsoft Office products •Ability to work in a team environment and desire for continuous learning through cross-training Ideal Candidate will posses: A minimum of five years of supervisory/management experience and a sound financial acumen related to running a Service operation. Your computer skills, effective administration, communication, and management abilities are coupled with experience in the supermarket refrigeration, or closely related, industry. | |
