PART-TIME SEPAK TAKRAW (KICK VOLLEYBALL) COACH

Qualifications:
• Applicant must be internationally certified and experienced at coaching the sport of Sepak Takraw at a national level. The job will include work for both Sepak Takraw Association of Canada (STAC) and Sepak Takraw Saskatchewan.

Job Description:
• Work with STAC representatives to develop a national Sepak Takraw Coaching Certification program, form existing resources, that would align with the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program);
• Develop and run a Sepak Takraw program in Regina, SK, for elite athletes that would be groomed for Saskatchewan’s provincial teams as well as Canada’s national team;
• Develop and run a 1 – 2 week Summer Sepak Takraw Training Camp in Regina just prior to the next national tournament in the summer of 2011;
• Facilitate and coach a local Sepak Takraw program in Regina, SK;
• Occasionally go to other towns/cities mainly in Saskatchewan upon request to conduct Sepak Takraw Clinics, Coaching Courses and Refereed Clinics.

Hours/Pay:
• Expected work time is a minimum of 3.5 hours per day in a 5-day work week, or 70 hours/month.
• $1000/month (roughly $15/hour with the above minimum hours worked).
