LASER QUEST GENERAL MANAGER

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years management experience in a service industry.

OVERVIEW:

Responsible for the local marketing and operations of a Laser Quest Centre, as an exciting entertainment option, in keeping with Company standards. Accountable for creating and maintaining a positive Employee relations environment which provides optimum levels of Customer satisfaction.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement comprehensive local marketing programs to maximize customer trial and awareness, while encouraging repeat visits and adhering to Laser Quest philosophies. For example: Members programs, corporate and group sales, birthdays, special event promotions, Quest for Knowledge, Quest for Success, community events, day camps, tourism and the student market
• Maintain sufficient staffing levels, both salaried and hourly, by proactively building relationships in the community in order to source qualified candidates
• Manage Crew to ensure efficient processing of players, while creating a positive entertainment experience
• Manage the Centre’s operating budget and operate within Company guidelines
• Ensure all equipment is maintained, as per published guidelines in order to operate at maximum capacity, resolving technical problems immediately
• Conduct regular Centre inspections to ensure presentation of a clean, upscale and well maintained family entertainment centre
• Complete prospecting and follow-up calls to market Laser Quest to local businesses, community groups and associations
• Ensure Client database is maintained and schedule activities utilizing ACT! Software . Responsible for all human resource activities including hiring using the Targeted Selection™ process, orientation and training using in-house training programs, motivating, appraising performance, enforcing discipline, and termination in consultation with your Area Manager and Human Resources Department
• Abide by the Company Code of Conduct
