Our vision is that visual art and quality visual art education has a place of prominence in every Saskatchewan resident’s life. Moreover, that the public, policymakers and school administrators see quality visual art as an essential component of the Saskatchewan school curriculum at every level and that visual art be a required credit in all Saskatchewan schools. It is our desire to ensure that all Saskatchewan residents acknowledge, encourage and respect the role that arts education generally and quality visual art education specifically, play in the development of: ➢ Critical and creative thinking ➢ Problem solving ➢ Skill building ➢ Defining culture ➢ Innovative leadership ➢ A holistic approach to individual development ➢ Questioning and challenging social political boundaries
